What Do You Pay To Us?

When you send a referral to an

agent of your choice, you just

pay a $350 processing fee to

Referral Broker when you
receive your referral check.

What Other Things Do I Pay For?

You can cancel all of the fees

that you currently have with

your license being active (MLS, Website, Contracts, etc.), you

just maintain your current E&O

Policy or get one if you don't

currently have E&O.

Upon receiving your first

referral fee each year, we will reimburse you for the cost of

your E&O Policy.

Do I Still Need Continuing

Education?

Yes, you still are required to

maintain the minimum amount

of education required by your

state to keep an active license.

We will have many low cost or

no cost virtual options

throughout the year to help

you make sure you can easily complete these hours.

FAQ'S

WHAT STATES CAN I HANG MY REAL ESTATE LICENSE WITH REFERRAL BROKER?

Currently Referral Broker is Licensed in Colorado, more states

will be available soon!

WHAT FEES DO I PAY WHEN JOINING?

We don't have any fees for you to hang your license at Referral

Broker, you just need to have an active real estate license and

current E&O Policy. If your license is inactive or you don't

have a current E&O Policy we can help you with obtaining

one. Upon your first referral fee each year, we will reimburse

you for the cost of this policy.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE ME WHEN I RECEIVE
A REFERRAL CHECK?

We keep it simple, we just charge a flat $350 fee to process

your referral check, regardless of the size of the referral check

that you receive.

WHAT IF MY LICENSE IS CURRENTLY INACTIVE OR EXPIRED?

Not a problem, we will help you with the steps to get it active

with the Division of Real Estate.

WHAT REFERRAL FEE CAN I CHARGE AN AGENT?

You get to choose what fee you want to charge an agent you

refer a client to, 25% has been an industry standard for many

years but you can negotiate any fee you want higher or lower

with the agent that you choose.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

Once we receive your referral fee, we can Direct Deposit it to

your bank account or mail you a check, whatever works best

for you. We will send you a 1099 at the end of the year so you

have everything you need to report your earnings.

CAN I BE MY OWN AGENT ON A PERSONAL TRANSACTION?

No you cannot act as an agent in your own transactions, but

we can assist in helping you find an agent that is willing to

pay much larger referral fees to you when you are buying

your own property.

CAN I REPRESENT ANY SELLERS OR BUYERS?

No you cannot act as an agent to any client, Referral Broker is

just a license holding company that allows you to refer

business and receive referral fees.

CAN I CHOOSE WHO I SEND MY REFERRALS TO?

Yes you get to choose who you send your client referrals to, if

you don't know of agent in the area that your client lives in or

is looking to move to, our Referral Placement service can assist

you in finding the right one!

CAN I REPRESENT MYSELF ON A NEW BUILD?

Yes, on a new build property you can refer yourself to the

builder and receive the commission paid by the builder less

the $350 transaction fee you to pay to us.

CAN I BE A MEMBER OF AN MLS?

No, since Referral Broker is not a member of any MLS's you

will not be required to be or allowed to be an MLS subscriber.

DO I STILL HAVE TO DO CONTINUING EDUCATION?

Yes, you will still have to maintain your continuing education

requirements required by your State. We will have many free

or discounted virtual options available to you throughout the

year to help you complete this.
